ABOUT
In 1914, Willard Merriam developed what we now know as Rockaway Beach, Missouri, nestled on the edge of Lake Taneycomo in the heart of Taney County, Missouri. For the next 50 years Rockaway Beach would gain a reputation as the place to be for fun, excitement and adventure - so much so that no room would exist on the sidewalks and people had to overflow into the streets. Rockaway Beach was THE destination, spanning cultural divides and providing a playground for the young and the old, the famous and unknown, and all of the dreamers and the do'ers of the early to mid 20th century.

But just as the stars in the sky, we watch them rise, only to see them fall away to the horizon.
Starting in the 1960's, the neon lights would begin to fade. The music playing from the vehicles lined along the beach would echo into the past and Rockaway Beach would close it's eyes; transforming into a sleepy fishing town leaving behind the memories of generations past etched into every step and cornerstone in the City.

In the spirit of remembrance and preservation for the ghosts that created our town and it's history, we are named after George R. & Flossie J. Renshaw, the family that conveyed this property to Willard Merriam in 1914.

Lake Taneycomo spans from Table Rock Lake to the Powersite Dam. Fish for Trout, Kayak, Jet Ski and Boat the Waterways with just a small walk out your front door.
Historical Sites
Rockaway Beach is full of history being established in 1914 and preserved through present day. Search through antique shops, check out exhibits from local artists and find opportunity to leave your own mark on our little town.
White River Coffee
Visit the White River Coffee Company, located in center of Rockaway. Amazing coffee and a cozy place to relax, read a book and catch some good conversation.
Pizza Cellar
A walk down the strip to the opposite side of Rockaway, you will venture below to indulge in some subterranean pizza pie.

What is the security deposit for your apartments?Most all security deposits are $550. There are sometimes when it may be different so give us a call about that.

How many people are allowed per apartment?We only allow two people per unit - one adult and one child or two adults.

How will I know if my application is approved?Your application will be automatically submitted to us and we will contact you as soon as we have finished processing or if we have questions.

Do you allow pets?We do allow one pet per apartment, no larger than 35 lbs. There is a pet deposit required and a monthly pet fee. We will discuss it with you further during the application process.

Are cable and internet available?Yes - cable and internet wi-fi are available.

Are any of your rooms handicap assessible?We do have wheelchair ramps but our rooms are not considered handicap assessible at this time.

How do I put in a maintenance request?All tenants must use the mobile app to put in maintenance requests. Go to tenant.rentredi.com to download the mobile app.

Are any furnishings included with the apartment?There are not any beds, cabinets, etc included with the apartment. You must bring all your own furnishings.

How do I pay the rent and/or security deposit?We don't accept any cash. You must use our app to pay with your bank account or credit or debit card. Chime is acceptable with our app too!

How do I fill out a rental application?Go to the Tenant Login part of our website and click on Application. You will have to create an account first.
